I met Josh at a friendsmas at my friend Krysten's place. I immediately fell in love with Josh's ability to make really great potatoes. I knew he liked me when he agreed to go for a run at -30 a few weeks later and really knew he liked me when I found out he hates running. It has been bubble tea, adventures and cooking new recipes ever since.
The first time I saw Erika, I was enchanted by her confidence and beautiful smile. I had to get to know her more, so I made it to her 8AM run club so I could have the chance to share a coffee with her. She described herself as logical with a bit of whimsy, and true to that I found myself with a person that I could be all of my selves with. They say when it's the right person, it's easy and I've never found life so easy as I do with Erika.
We got engaged at one of our favorite date night spots, Westview Park which is famously known as Garbage Hill, where we got down on our knees to propose to each other. It became clear to us early on that we wanted to be in it for the long haul - Josh gave up his new condo and fell in love with Belvidere while Erika begrudgingly found some closet space to share. Time flies when you're having fun, and in what feels like a short time we've explored Kelowna, kept our hands off the Gum Wall in Seattle, drank beers in "Broadslavita" (Europe) and experienced the tastes of Winnipeg via scooter. We are so excited to have you share in the first step of our next journey together!
